




Position Summary: We are seeking a pastry professional to prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of desserts and bakery products, ensuring quality and adherence to recipes and standards. Key Highlights: 1. Mastery in the preparation and decoration of desserts and bakery products. 2. Focus on precision and quality in recipe execution. 3. Support in designing new desserts and improving existing recipes. * Prepare doughs, batters, creams, syrups, mousses, cookies, breads, and specialty desserts. * Perform advanced baking techniques, chocolate tempering, cake assembly, and decoration. * Execute recipes with precise measurements and techniques. * Monitor oven, refrigeration, and fermentation times and temperatures. * Decorate desserts according to established standards or requested designs. * Prepare mise en place for the day and anticipate production needs. * Assemble desserts for restaurant service, buffets, banquets, or display cases. * Verify product freshness and proper stock rotation (FIFO). * Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation, utensils, and equipment. * Prevent cross-contamination and ensure correct storage. * Record losses and report waste. * Store and organize raw materials in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas. * Inspect quality of ingredients such as butter, flours, fruits, dairy, and chocolate. * Assist with inventory management and identify purchasing needs. * Support the design of new desserts or improvements to current recipes. * Conduct product testing when requested.
