Oversees project progress and actively addresses any issues to maintain quality and efficiency. This role is responsible for developing and delivering strategic manufacturing projects aligning with business needs. Majority of projects are linked to NPDL process. Key Areas of Responsibility * Role is responsible for formulating and executing project plans, in consultation with internal and external stakeholders * Prepares and executes comprehensive project plans meeting time, cost and quality targets. * Manages stakeholders towards the successful delivery of projects. If required to organize decision meetings to proceed, the voice of manufacturing and take care of the DfMA and DfSC aspects * Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality (APQP), status, time, and money * Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition, monitors costs of the individual projects * Collaborates effectively, contributes to best practices sharing throughout projects and promote consistent use of appropriate tools and methodology * Engineering projects managers are responsible to reduce MVA (Manufacturing Value Add) in next generation and integrally support optimization of FCP (Factory Cost Price) * Engineering project managers are aware of the product and process roadmaps and actively steer new projects in this direction. Deep expertise in DFM/DFA and quality standards (AQP/PPAP) to provide technical oversight and risk mitigation. * **5\+ years** of experience in leading and developing a high\-performing NPI or Engineering team within a manufacturing environment.
