Oversees project progress and actively addresses any issues to maintain quality and efficiency. This role is responsible for developing and delivering strategic manufacturing projects aligning with business needs. Majority of projects are linked to NPDL process. Key Areas of Responsibility * Role is responsible for formulating and executing project plans, in consultation with internal and external stakeholders * Prepares and executes comprehensive project plans meeting time, cost and quality targets. * Manages stakeholders towards the successful delivery of projects. If required to organize decision meetings to proceed, the voice of manufacturing and take care of the DfMA and DfSC aspects * Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality (APQP), status, time, and money * Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition, monitors costs of the individual projects * Collaborates effectively, contributes to best practices sharing throughout projects and promote consistent use of appropriate tools and methodology * Engineering projects managers are responsible to reduce MVA (Manufacturing Value Add) in next generation and integrally support optimization of FCP (Factory Cost Price) * Engineering project managers are aware of the product and process roadmaps and actively steer new projects in this direction. E.g. prepare manufacturing for connected products and automation. * Engineering project managers work towards pre\-defined NPDL or other project execution processes but can improve the process with f.i. automation of own work. * Leads the planning and execution of engineering projects within manufacturing units and coordinates cross\-functional teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met. * Monitors project budgets and allocates resources effectively to optimize costs. * Implements risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays or issues. * Communicates project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management. * Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle. * Facilitates continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and incorporating lessons learned **More about you** While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: * **10\+ years** of experience in NPI, project management, manufacturing engineering, preferably within high\-tech or electronics industries. Deep expertise in DFM/DFA and quality standards (AQP/PPAP) to provide technical oversight and risk mitigation. * **5\+ years** of experience in leading and developing a high\-performing NPI or Engineering team within a manufacturing environment. Expert in driving products from R\&D through ESR/IEMB/PILOT to mass production, ensuring seamless transition and scaling. * Strong ability to optimize resource allocation, manage departmental budgets, and drive continuous improvement in NPI processes. * Exceptional communication skills to bridge gaps between R\&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production departments. **Proven track record** of influencing cross\-functional leaders and managing customer expectations at a senior level. * Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements * Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for complex yield or process issues. * Fluent in English and Spanish \#LI\-MA1 * Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related **Everything we’ll do for you** You can grow a lasting career here.
