**Vacancy Name** Sr Planner **Location of Work** Tijuana, Mexico **Employment Type** Full Time Employee **Job Description** **Job Summary** Coordinates and manages the development and execution of the production plan within scheduling timelines and delivery parameters, maintaining updated planning parameters based on the Business Unit's inventory strategy in ERP. Identifies and promotes continuous improvement activities for production plan deviations with production support departments. Analyzes the continuous flow of materials and information requested by production and materials. Works with minimal supervision, provides support to Planners I\-II\-III and expeditors. Effectively manages work orders, with extensive experience managing multiple ERP systems and manufacturing environments (MTS, ATO, MTO). **What We Value:** * Customer First: we deliver extraordinary experiences. * Accountability: we do what we say * Integrity: we do the right thing * Inspired: we love what we do * A Global Team: we before me, always **What You’ll Do (Job Duties)** * Responsible for ERP and AX/MAPICS system parameters to effectively manage product demand planning, developing detailed scheduling plans for each workstation and department. * Responsible for coordinating preparation of customer order requirements to ensure shipment in the correct quantity and on the agreed date. * Identify demand variations to establish safety stock strategies (Min\-Max, ROP, Kanban). * Maintains a continuous material flow and ensures customer OTD above 96% * Collaborates closely with manufacturing, marketing, and customer service departments to ensure the highest level of customer service, while maintaining established plant productivity and efficiency goals. * Daily communication with Production Supervisors as needed to agree and adjust inventory or production plan requirements in support of production constraints and material availability (DAP/MFT boards). * Primary contact between supply chain structure and manufacturing team to provide information regarding facility constraints and capacity requirements to meet customer demand. * Identifies and provides solutions to ERP system information requirements. * Interacts with Customer Service and Manufacturing to determine resource constraints and develop * plans to meet customer needs. * Facilitates information to organizational departments facing supply constraints, including follow-up actions on recovery plans, which may involve staffing needs, tooling requirements, equipment validations, shipping, and restoration of stable product supply. * Delegates activities to Planners I\-II\-III and expeditors as necessary to execute and achieve production plans timely across different operational shifts. * Identifies planning strategies and techniques to manage semi-finished products with the highest service levels for assembly areas, while maintaining control over inventory targets. * Coordinates inventory levels to meet BU objectives (WIP, FG, Semi-finished). * Performs other related tasks as assigned or required. **What You’ll Need (Job Requirements)** * Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering * 5 years of experience * APICS desirable * Knowledge of AX / ERP systems * Production planning / MRP systems * Advanced English **Competencies** * Analytical. * Project Management**.**
