Job Description and Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the purchasing team.
* Develop procurement and cost-reduction strategies.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with key suppliers.
* Analyze market trends and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.
* Manage budgets and report departmental performance indicators.
* Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
* Review and approve high-value purchase orders.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and procedures.
* Implement process improvements in procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance departments.
* Act as substitute for the Procurement Manager during their absence.
Experience and Requirements
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, in a supervisory or assistant management role.
* Advanced procurement and negotiation strategies.
* Budgetary control.
* International trade and import operations (preferred).
* ERP system proficiency (SAP).
* **Languages:** Intermediate-to-advanced English (mandatory if managing international suppliers).
* Leadership and decision-making skills.
* Analytical and strategic thinking.
* Results-oriented mindset.
* Strong negotiation and effective communication skills.
* Professional ethics and responsibility in resource management.
