Leadership and personnel development A major Tijuana-based company engaged in the manufacturing of awnings and blinds seeks a Junior Production Supervisor. **Excellent opportunity!** **Immediate hiring** **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer. * Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production roles. * Minimum 1 year of experience managing personnel. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Effective communication skills. * Leadership ability. * Organizational skills. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure. **Knowledge:** * Basic knowledge of production and quality metrics. * Computer proficiency (Excel, email, reporting). **Responsibilities:** * Ensure daily adherence to the production schedule by directly supervising operators, performing basic process control, and implementing quality, safety, and productivity standards; also serve as operational support for the Production Supervisor. * Plan and execute daily/weekly production to meet volume and delivery deadlines. * Supervise floor-level operational staff (shifts, roles, breaks, discipline). * Coordinate model changes, production start-ups, and downtime. * Manage material consumption and resource utilization efficiency. * Implement lean manufacturing practices (5S, waste reduction, line balancing). * Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the production area. * Verify that parts meet internal and customer quality standards. * Coordinate in-process and final product visual and dimensional inspections. * Document and track non-conforming products, rework, and scrap. * Implement simple corrective and preventive actions. * Address customer complaints related to quality (with support if required). * Train staff on quality criteria and ensure compliance on the shop floor. **Schedule:** * Monday to Friday Employment type: Full-time Salary: $22,000.00 - $24,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
