Description and Details of Responsibilities
**Job Functions**
* Actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of engineering changes related to New Product Introduction (NPI).
* Design, develop, execute, validate, and release to production electrical and functional tests for both hardware and software.
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot failures in CHECKSUM equipment, functional testers, programmers, and other test systems used in production.
* Develop, modify, and maintain test programs across various equipment and platforms used in the plant.
* Coordinate and track continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, reduction of downtime, and improvement of departmental KPIs.
* Develop standards, instructions, and simplified, efficient work templates aligned with operational and quality requirements.
* Plan and analyze corrective, preventive, and autonomous maintenance activities for test equipment.
**Job Responsibilities**
* Maintain electrical and functional test equipment installed at Milwaukee Electronics (Tecate) in optimal working condition.
* Document, validate, and ensure proper use of equipment, programs, fixtures, and related technical documentation for test processes.
* Introduce and validate new electrical test equipment and systems for new products and manufacturing processes.
* Develop projects and modifications aimed at continuous improvement, automation, and departmental optimization.
* Apply knowledge of electronics, programming, and design to develop tools, devices, and technical solutions that improve electrical testing operations.
* Verify and control versions and revisions of fixtures, test programs, product software, and technical documentation required for test execution.
Experience and Requirements
* Completed degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Systems, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical testing, electronic analysis, or related roles within the electronics or manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of analysis and diagnosis of failures in electronic assemblies, as well as soldering processes under applicable IPC standards and regulations.
* Ability to interpret and analyze electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation as references for problem diagnosis and resolution.
* Programming knowledge in C, C\+\+, Python, ladder logic (PLCs), G Block, and G\#.
* Experience in electrical design and use of specialized software for development and simulation of diagrams and circuits, such as KiCAD, Multisim, Proteus, Altium Designer, or similar tools.
* Familiarity with electronic measurement and metrology equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic analyzers.
* Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems for configuration, programming, and support of test equipment.
* Basic or intermediate knowledge of mechanical design and CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
* Experience or familiarity with LabVIEW for application development and usage.
* Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, perform technical analysis, and focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
