Generates new product codes or line extensions for existing products. Conducts product performance testing. Acts as a liaison between production and Customer Service. Develops process documentation and product specifications. Collects performance data and generates statistical analyses. **Our Core Values:** * Customer First: We deliver extraordinary experiences. * Accountability: We do what we say. * Integrity: We do the right thing. * Inspired: We love what we do. * A Global Team: We before I—always. **What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)** * Serve as the manufacturing liaison for new product engineering. * Analyze process issues and communicate/implement suggested improvements with the department supervisor and Engineering. * Implement new manufacturing equipment, tools, fixtures, accessories, and processes. * Coordinate manufacturing process changes with affected departments. * Provide technical information to other departments as applicable regarding manufacturing processes. * Track first-run production of new products through manufacturing operations to ensure desired outcomes and conduct product performance testing as required by Customer Service or the customer. * Generate new product codes or line extensions for existing products. * Evaluate unit processes, upgrade techniques, quality, and overall efficiency. * Collaborate with Engineering on designing special-purpose machinery and equipment for the product line. * Advise and consult the Quality Control Department regarding manufacturing equipment capabilities relative to desired quality. * Provide technical support to the Quality Control Department to resolve customer complaints. * Provide technical support to the Quality Control Department to resolve customer complaints. * Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Prepare requisitions for appropriate tools to accommodate the introduction of new products into manufacturing. * Initiate and implement cost reduction/process improvement initiatives in collaboration with respective departments and/or functions. * Assist in implementing the Quality Awareness Program—process over inspection. * Research and select new equipment and methods. **What You’ll Need (Requirements)** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred. **English:** Advanced proficiency **Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:** ==================================================================== * Advanced proficiency in mechanical design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) * Knowledge of mechatronic systems (electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical) * Knowledge of PLC programming (Keyence, Omron, Allen Bradley, Koyo, Mitsubishi) * Knowledge of structured programming software for industrial applications (LabVIEW, C#, Java, C++) * Basic knowledge of machining and CNC * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to make objective observations. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Solid analytical and statistical skills. * Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
