*A leading company in the healthcare sector is seeking a* ***Veterinary Surgeon*** *for the city of Tijuana.* **\*** ***Free accommodation is provided for out-of-town candidates during the first few months\**** **Requirements:** * Veterinary surgeon * Licensed with professional license * Minimum 3 years of experience in small animal clinics (dogs and cats) * Minimum 3 years of experience in soft tissue surgery is mandatory. * 3 years of experience in orthopedic surgeries is desirable. * Completion of a training program at a teaching hospital is desirable. * Continuing education in veterinary surgery is desirable. * In-depth knowledge of outpatient care for small animals is mandatory. * Implementation of medical treatments * Handling and treatment of animals * Use and administration of veterinary pharmaceuticals **Responsibilities:** * Timely and courteous service to clients and patients * Surgeries for dogs and cats * Preoperative evaluation and postoperative care * Implementation and monitoring of in-hospital treatments * Administration of medication and patient care * Prompt emergency response * Timely follow-up with each pet owner regarding their patient’s health status * Basic intensive care therapy, anesthesia, and emergency management * Examination of animals to detect and diagnose diseases, disorders, or injuries * Collection, submission, processing, and interpretation of laboratory and imaging samples * Basic ultrasound operation * Treatment of injured or ill animals, e.g., prescribing and administering medication, wound care, and/or administering anesthesia for procedures * Maintenance of an accurate preventive medicine schedule tailored to each patient * Performing ethical and justifiable euthanasia on patients presenting with life-incompatible pathologies * Advising animal owners on sanitary measures, nutrition, and general care necessary to promote the health of their pets and families * Maintaining complete patient records and documenting each visit, including progress notes and treatments * Making phone calls or sending text messages/WhatsApp messages to pet owners to ensure timely and precise patient follow-up Employment type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
