Position Summary: Delivers high-quality, safe medical care in the Emergency Department, including patient consultations, documentation of clinical notes, performance of therapeutic procedures, and patient referrals. Key Highlights: 1. Provides high-quality medical care in the Emergency Department. 2. Performs therapeutic procedures and manages patient referrals. 3. Communicates diagnoses and treatment plans to patients and their families. **Shifts: Mon\-Sat Morning Shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or Afternoon Shift 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM** **Responsibilities** Provide high-quality, safe medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. **Primary Functions** * Conduct medical consultations according to the Hospital's established TRIAGE protocol. * Prepare corresponding clinical notes, specifying diagnosis and targeted treatment. * Request and requisition specialized studies and surgeries as needed by the patient, submitting requests to the appropriate insurance provider. * Perform indicated therapeutic procedures feasible within the wound care area (e.g., suturing, casting, orthosis application, etc.). * Provide patients and their families with information regarding diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and discharge plan. * Conduct rounds on patients admitted for observation. * Maintain accurate records of all patients treated in the department. * Timely identify chronic degenerative conditions among the patient population served. * Promptly refer patients to a higher-complexity hospital when their condition does not meet the facility's Admission Policy criteria. * Refer patients to other specialists and services as required. * Obtain informed consent from the patient, closest family member, or legal representative, following clear, truthful, sufficient, and timely explanations of the proposed therapeutic plan’s benefits, as well as its common risks and complications. Prior experience in Emergency Medicine and Inpatient Care is essential; advanced English proficiency required.
