SMT Process Engineer

Description

Job Summary: Engineer with experience in SMT processes, NPI, technical documentation, and continuous improvement to optimize product manufacturing, ensuring quality and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. SMT manufacturing process development and optimization. 2. Leadership in new product introduction (NPI) on SMT lines. 3. Cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure specification compliance. Description and details of responsibilities * Define and develop SMT manufacturing processes for new and existing products. * Develop and maintain process flows, diagrams, and technical documentation (SOPs, work instructions). * Manage and upload bill of materials (BOM) into internal systems (ERP/MRP). * Monitor pilot runs and initial production (NPI), ensuring process stability. * Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) on SMT lines. * Analyze and optimize process costs (materials, time, equipment utilization). * Evaluate, select, and implement new equipment and technologies to improve efficiency and quality. * Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the process (yield, scrap, cycle times). * Ensure compliance with applicable medical industry regulations (e.g., traceability, documentation). * Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to guarantee specification compliance.
