This is your opportunity to join STRATTEC as a **Quality Engineer** **Objective:** Facilitate the resolution of issues related to internal and external quality activities, maintaining communication regarding the progress of corrective action analysis and implementation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate problem-solving activities. * Ensure compliance with and management of specific customer requirements. * Manage customer-specific requirements. * Supervise quality department personnel. * Provide customer service, support, and follow-up (visits, audits, progress and action communications, etc.). **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineering or related field. * Experience in the automotive industry (mandatory requirement). * Experience managing customers from major OEMs. * Familiarity with GM and/or VW customer-specific requirements (desirable). * Bilingual English/Spanish (mandatory requirement). * Process Control Plans. * Use of measurement equipment. * PFMEAs. * SPC. * MSA (Gauge R\&R). * APQP. * PPAP. * Problem-solving tools. * Experience supervising personnel (inspectors, auditors, technicians). * Mexican visa and passport (a plus). * No transportation constraints for working at Parque Colinas de León, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position is based at the plant located at Blvd. Paseo de las Colinas #142, Parque Industrial Colinas de León; the plant’s primary activity is the production and painting of automotive electronic components such as interior, exterior, and pillar handles.
