Description and details of activities **Responsibilities** * Configure dispensing equipment; understand dispensing and assembly processes for each type of card or system/sub-assembly being dispensed. * Operate dispensing equipment requiring basic computer knowledge and test software, enabling proper identification and interpretation of fault parameters to be recorded and entered into the Quality Management System (PFS). * Identify component types and read integrated circuits (ICs), resistors, capacitors, etc. * Identify, visually or with appropriate devices, labor or material defects and apply corresponding defect marks or labels per Quality Assurance procedures. * Maintain records of dispensed, accepted, or rejected units using statistical process control charts. * Apply basic-to-intermediate knowledge of applicable specifications and standard product requirements during individual dispensing operations. * All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure BEI meets or exceeds customer satisfaction. Experience and Requirements **Qualifications (Essential Requirements for the Position)** * Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (multimeters, mechanical tools, etc.), and profile creation. * Demonstrate basic knowledge in machine operation. * Ability to read and understand drawings, assembly diagrams, procedures, specifications, and other documentation related to electronic assemblies when working with components. * Comply with BEI’s quality assurance policies and methodologies; understand and apply IPC quality and workmanship standards; develop a strong quality orientation. * Willingness to train on new equipment and cross-train on other site operations as required. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
