Our fully remote team enjoys a collaborative culture, flexible work schedules, and opportunities for professional growth. **Salary:** $1,300 \- $1,600 USD (monthly) \+ paid time off \& personal days **Roles and Responsibilities:** **Client Communication \& Relationship Management** * Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication on timelines, procedures, and accounting needs. * Address client questions promptly and ensure they receive accurate monthly financial statements. **Team Leadership \& Workflow Coordination** * Assign tasks, set deadlines, and guide Associates and accounting staff. * Resolve task\-related questions and escalate issues to the Senior Manager when needed. * Manage and track workload in **Asana**, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, scheduled, and updated. **Technical Accounting Oversight** * Prepare and review monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and related schedules. * Oversee month\-end processes, including reconciliations (balance sheet, debt, intercompany, payroll), journal entries, accruals, and general ledger review. * Handle sales tax reporting, state compliance requirements, and financial calculations such as borrowing base and covenants. * Ensure all accounts have complete and accurate monthly reconciliations or supporting schedules. **Organization \& File Management** * Maintain well\-organized client files aligned with internal standards. * Ensure documentation is properly named, stored, and easily accessible for the team. * Uphold filing and organizational procedures across all assigned accounts. **Skills:** * Excellent communication: Able to clearly explain processes and interact professionally with clients, owners, and staff at all levels. * Strong leadership \& initiative: Guides team members effectively, assigns tasks, ensures deadlines are met, and drives work forward without needing constant direction. * Highly organized \& detail\-oriented: Manages multiple clients, maintains structured workflows, and ensures accuracy in financials, reconciliations, and documentation. * Technical accounting expertise: Solid understanding of month\-end processes, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. * Advanced software proficiency: Skilled in Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems; comfortable working in task management tools such as Asana. * Problem\-solving \& professionalism: Proactive in resolving issues, handles sensitive information with discretion, and remains steady under pressure. **Tech Stack Familiarity:** * Accounting Software: QuickBooks (Online \& Desktop), Yardi, Sage, Concur, PCLaw * Payment \& Expense Tools: Bill.com, Stripe, Square, MarginEdge, Ramp, Toast * Payroll Systems: ADP, Gusto, Paylocity, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll, Toast Payroll **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fired * Minimum **5 years of experience** in accounting roles. * Experience supervising or directing accounting staff. * Advanced English (written and spoken) required. * High\-speed wired internet connection(200 mbps min.) * Windows 10/11 or Mac ( 4 GB RAM, Intel i5 or similar) **Physical Setting:** Remote **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST Job Type: Full\-time Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * accounting: 3 years (Required) Language: * advanced English (Required) Work Location: Remote
