The Role The AI Data Architect brings demonstrated expertise in custom Point\-of\-Sale (POS) system development and integration to the table. They will bridge AI innovation with retail/QSR operational realities—developing intelligent, adaptive systems that elevate speed, accuracy, and customer experience. Experience in agentic AI frameworks and multi\-system orchestration (POS, payment, CRM, inventory) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities § Design and implement AI\-driven POS solutions that enhance order processing, predictive sales insights, and dynamic customer interactions. § Integrate agentic intelligence components capable of autonomously handling tasks such as voice ordering, upsell suggestions, and error resolution. § Collaborate with backend developers and data engineers to align AI models with transactional data, APIs, and edge devices. § Build and train custom LLM or ML models to interpret natural language, optimize pricing, and automate workflows. § Conduct system performance tuning, model evaluation, and ongoing optimization based on user feedback and analytics. § Stay current with AI frameworks and their applicability to real\-time retail environments. Experience/Qualifications § Proven experience with AI agentic systems, prompt chaining, or autonomous task orchestration. § Strong command of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern API architectures (REST, GraphQL). § Hands\-on experience with LLMs, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma), and conversational AI pipelines. § Familiarity with Azure AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs for model deployment. § Experience integrating hardware\-level POS terminals or payment gateways preferred. § Excellent problem\-solving, documentation, and communication skills. § Background in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or deep learning. § Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGPT). § Experience in custom POS development (QSR, retail, or enterprise scale) is a big plus.
