Job Summary: We are seeking an IP Telephony and Laboratory Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s communication systems. Key Highlights: 1. Integration into the Infrastructure and Telecommunications team. 2. Level 1 and 2 technical support for telephone systems. 3. Diagnosis and resolution of connectivity and communication incidents. **IT Support Engineer – IP Telephony** Pueblo Nuevo, Tijuana, Baja California Up to $27,068 MXN monthly net We are looking for an **IP Telephony and Laboratory Support Engineer** to join the **Infrastructure and Telecommunications team**, with the objective of ensuring the proper operation of the organization’s communication systems. Requirements * Degree in **Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Networks, or related field**. * **2 years of experience** in technical support or telecommunications. * Knowledge of **IP telephony, VoIP, and PBX systems**. * Basic knowledge of **networks and communication protocols**. * Experience in **user support and technical assistance**. * **Basic–intermediate English** proficiency for reading technical documentation. * Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills**. Main Responsibilities * Provide **Level 1 and 2 technical support** for telephone systems. * Installation, configuration, and maintenance of **telephony solutions (PBX, VoIP, IP telephony)**. * Diagnosis and resolution of **incidents related to connectivity and communication**. * Monitoring and maintenance of the **telephony infrastructure**. * Conducting **testing and validation of terminals and equipment in the laboratory**. * Documenting incidents and **tracking support tickets** via internal system. * Providing **corrective and preventive user support**.
