Description and details of responsibilities * Conducts diagnostics on thermoplastic and silicone injection molds. • Proposes solutions to mold-related issues that may arise. • Coordinates activities and pending tasks across shifts * Performs minor and major repairs jointly with the mold shop and engineering team. * Provides support and training to junior personnel within the mold shop. * Proposes and develops improvements to fixtures and production machinery. * Completes forms with information regarding the molds being worked on. * Documents daily activities. Experience and Requirements * Lives near Parque Industrial Pacífico or has no transportation constraints. * Technical degree (Machinery and Tools, Industrial Maintenance). * Minimum 7 years of verifiable experience in a similar position. * Blueprint interpretation. * Advanced mechanical aptitude. * Metrology. * Workshop-level applied mathematics. * Basic trigonometry application. * Open to teamwork. * Effective communication. * Strong organizational skills, proactive, self-directed. * Mechanical reasoning ability. * Knowledge of mechanical devices: cams, racks, gears, etc. * Knowledge of hot runner systems. * Knowledge of mold welding: TIG, MIG, and laser. * Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems (cylinders). * Knowledge and application of bead blasters and sand blasters. * Use of CNC equipment: lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, sinker EDM. * As well as VMC, W\-EDM, S\-EDM, H\-CNC Lathe, surface grinder.
