Job Summary: This role ensures the safe and respectful transport of patients within the hospital, supporting clinical and administrative areas in the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the safe and respectful transport of patients and materials. 2. Assist nursing staff with patient mobilization and transport. 3. Collaborate with the healthcare team and comply with confidentiality standards. Ensure the safe, timely, and respectful transport of patients within hospital facilities, supporting clinical and administrative areas in the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies as needed. * Ensure proper use of stretchers, wheelchairs, and other transport devices, keeping them clean and functional. * Assist nursing staff with basic mobilization maneuvers, always adhering to safety protocols and ergonomic techniques. * Collaborate with the healthcare team for transporting patients with limited mobility. * Maintain records of all transports according to established procedures. * Maintain order in hallways, transit areas, and stretcher stations. * Assist with the transport of supplies or equipment upon request from clinical areas. * Comply with confidentiality, privacy, and dignified patient treatment standards.
