Job Description and Responsibilities **Position Objective** Ensure complete and reliable SMT process traceability, guaranteeing accurate recording of materials, batches, parameters, configurations, and inspection results—thereby maintaining product integrity, meeting customer requirements, and supporting stability in electronic manufacturing processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and maintain SMT traceability methods: materials, batches, setups, programs, and parameters. * Verify unit/batch identification in MES/ERP: material, station, operator, date/time, and inspection. * Analyze product and flow discrepancies: data capture errors, deviations, and information gaps. * Update and standardize SMT work instructions (printing, placement, SPI, AOI, reflow) with scanning and validation steps. * Confirm on the shop floor that printing, placement, and reflow parameters match documented specifications. * Provide technical support during model/batch changes and setup transitions, ensuring correct material recording and programming. * Enhance data capture systems (barcodes, RFID, MES stations) to improve digital/physical consistency. * Record and control traceability for rework and reprocessing: station, reason, and outcome. * Monitor KPIs: traceability rate, scrap due to data errors, discrepancies, and process stability. * Support internal/external audits by providing traceability evidence. * Collaborate with Production, Quality, Materials, and Engineering to align physical and electronic workflows. Experience and Requirements **Requirements** * Degree or candidate in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 1–3 years of experience in SMT processes or electronic manufacturing engineering. **Technical Knowledge:** * MES/ERP/MRP systems and traceability methodologies (mandatory). * Data capture tools: barcodes, industrial scanners, RFID. * SMT processes: printing, pick & place, SPI, AOI, and reflow. * Interpretation of BOMs, Gerber files, manufacturing routings, and technical documentation. * Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. * IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards. * Analysis of data discrepancies and generation of corrective actions.
