**Job Objective:** Efficiently support daily kitchen operations, ensuring proper food preparation, handling, and presentation in compliance with The Grill Gallery’s established standards for quality, hygiene, and service timing. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** * Assist in ingredient preparation (cutting, portioning, production, etc.). * Help prepare dishes under the chef’s direction. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils. * Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Support proper food storage (FIFO rotation). * Assist during peak service hours while maintaining pace and quality. * Report food waste, shortages, or incidents in the kitchen. **Job Requirements** **Required Professional Skills:** * Demonstrable hands-on kitchen experience (restaurants, grills, or professional kitchens). * Basic proficiency in using knives and kitchen tools. * Fundamental cooking techniques. * Preparation of side dishes and assistance with main courses. * Ability to work within service time constraints. * Strong sense of organization, cleanliness, and discipline. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Service-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. * Sense of urgency. **Academic Background and Experience:** * Education: Completed secondary school or high school (verifiable). * Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in high-volume restaurants. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Attention to detail and focus on hygiene. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Ability to stand for extended shifts. * Capacity to follow instructions. * Teamwork, speed, service orientation, proactivity, and responsibility. **General Conditions** * Schedule: Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. * Days off: Rotating weekday day off. * Uniform: Institutional apron provided by the restaurant. * Benefits: IMSS, weekly salary payment, tips, meals, and beverages. * Salary: To be discussed during the interview.
