Job Summary: Intermerk is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to operate Double Reach and Counterbalanced forklifts, supply production lines, wrap loads, support inventory assignments, and maintain records. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating different types of forklifts, including Double Reach and Counterbalanced models, in both stand-up and sit-down configurations. Key Responsibilities: - Supply production areas with required materials: You will be responsible for transporting and loading necessary materials to keep production running efficiently and safely. - Wrap loads using stretch wrap: You must properly wrap and secure loads to ensure their protection during transportation and storage. - Support team assignments based on inventory: You will work closely with the inventory team to ensure assignments are executed accurately and promptly. - Review and maintain forklift operation records: You will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate logs of all forklift operations, including routine equipment inspection and maintenance. Job Requirements: - Prior experience as a Forklift Operator using Double Reach and Counterbalanced forklifts in both stand-up and sit-down configurations. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently. - Strong teamwork skills and effective communication with other staff members. - Knowledge of and adherence to occupational safety regulations. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet established deadlines. - Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.
