Job Summary: We are seeking a Moldmaker or Toolmaker to perform mold inspections and repairs, manufacture tools and prototypes, and provide manufacturing support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Mold inspection and repair. 2. Tool, prototype, and accessory manufacturing. 3. Manufacturing support for problem resolution. **What You Will Do:** ----------------- **Mold inspection and repair.** Review and understand specifications, select materials, set up and operate conventional and CNC equipment, select cutting tools for various applications, use measuring instruments, and be capable of inspecting your own work. Produce tools, prototypes, and accessories to facilitate production part manufacturing. Knowledge of materials and heat treatment required for different applications. Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding, with or without filler metal. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. **Activities** * Provide manufacturing support primarily for mold inspection and repair. **\-** Identify issues related to product, process, and quality; make recommendations and propose solutions \- Authorized to initiate actions to prevent occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process, or quality system.\- Identify and record any issues related to product, process, or quality system. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through tooling or fixture manufacturing for proper problem resolution \- Fixture or tool design via reverse engineering. **Requirements:** --------------- * Moldmaker or Toolmaker vocational training. * 5 years of experience. * Proficiency with surface grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
