Description and details of activities Coordinates the materials department to plan, receive, store, and supply raw materials to production processes through interaction with different departments to establish procedures that improve the flow of raw material and finished product supply. **Activity Description:** * Coordinates with the quality department the material flow to streamline the incoming inspection process. * Establishes strategies to plan, measure, and determine optimal inventories of raw materials and finished products at different stages of the value chain flow. * Continuously deploys and improves formal systems to ensure the flow of material supply from warehouse to production usage points aligned with planning. * Plans, measures, and determines optimal inventories of raw materials and finished products in manufacturing plants. * Provides necessary tools and resources to personnel to continuously optimize department processes, impacting cost improvements. * Coordinates cycle counts and inventory plans to maintain accuracy in material quantities and costs. * Participates in cost analysis and department budget planning. * Manages printing and supply processes for labels, planning, receiving and storage, supply to point of use, raw material receipt, collection, and shipment of finished products. * Promotes systematic collaboration with material flow, procurement, external warehouses, and suppliers. * Collaborates with corporate and local buyers to implement robust processes that promote data analysis and standardization of best practices to define the terms, parameters, and variables required to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials. * Promotes the creation of formal systems that continuously improve standard processes related to raw material supply flow.
