Job Summary: Industrial maintenance professional with experience in electronics, PLCs, and automation to ensure the operational continuity of machinery and systems. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in improvement projects to optimize equipment. **Industrial Maintenance Technician with knowledge of Electronics and Basic PLC** **Santa Fe, Tijuana, Baja California** Combines practical mechanical/electrical repair skills with the ability to diagnose faults in modern automated systems. Ensures machinery operational continuity, minimizing downtime. * **Electrical Maintenance** * Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of industrial electrical systems (motors, switchboards, wiring, lighting fixtures, transformers, sensors, variable frequency drives, etc.). * Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans according to the established schedule. * Ensure calibration and proper operation of electrical and control equipment. * **Electronics Knowledge:** Interpretation of electronic schematics; measurement of components (resistors, diodes, transistors); repair of electronic circuit boards; and diagnosis of sensor failures (inductive, capacitive, optical). * **Basic PLC:** Ability to connect to PLCs (Siemens, Allen\-Bradley, etc.), monitor programs (online mode), identify forced inputs/outputs, and perform preventive maintenance on controllers. * **Automation:** Support for automated production lines and basic configuration of speed controllers and variable frequency drives. * Perform routine cleaning, tightening of connections, and backup of PLC programs to prevent unplanned shutdowns. * **Installations and Improvements** * Carry out new electrical installations (circuits, switchboards, conduits, protective devices) per engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Propose and participate in improvement projects to optimize energy consumption or enhance equipment safety. * Assist in integrating new production equipment, ensuring correct electrical connections. * **Safety and Regulatory Compliance** * Comply with and implement electrical safety standards (NOM\-029\-STPS, NOM\-001\-SEDE, and other applicable regulations). * Report unsafe conditions, deviations, or critical failures in electrical systems. * Properly use PPE and adhere to Lockout\-Tagout (LOTO) procedures. * **Operational Support** * Collaborate with **Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety & Hygiene** departments during shutdowns or emergencies. * Maintain up\-to\-date maintenance records, logbooks, and technical reports. * Participate in internal and external audits related to electricity, safety, or maintenance.
