Description and details of activities The Senior Customer Complaint Investigation Engineer position is responsible for investigation activities related to infusion pumps and monitoring devices This role supports the daily activities of technical staff in an assigned area. Receives task priorities from the team supervisor to carry out assigned tasks to completion. 1\. Ensures that complaint investigation results are provided to appropriate personnel in a timely manner and escalates critical issues to management as necessary. 2\. Key contributor in projects driving product safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction 3\. Ensures that complaint investigation documentation and records are complete and comply with regulatory requirements. May support or supervise less experienced colleagues with their documentation and records. 4\. Participate and support internal and external audits as needed. 5\. Performs other related tasks as necessary: project management, presentation creation, and strategic planning. 6\. May coordinate aspects of the complaint investigation team and associated members, taking responsibility for outcomes in terms of investigation accuracy, completion time, and documentation. 7\. Responsible for individual results and team impact. 8\. Identifies and implements efficiency and compliance improvements in the complaint investigation process. 9\. Together with the department manager and escalation teams, develop strategies to direct efforts to ensure infusion customer satisfaction. 10\. May provide periodic and consistent updates to management on complaint investigation trends and observations. Experience and requirements **Experience and requirements** * Degree in electronic, biomedical, or mechatronic engineering * Intermediate to advanced English * Must demonstrate practical understanding of relevant Quality System Regulations (e.g.: Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, FDA, MDSAP) * Knowledge of: electrical and electronic engineering principles, through-hole and SMT PCB design, and manufacturing methodology; Electrical and mechanical measurement and analysis devices. * Familiarity with engineering design and drafting tools such as Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design and layout tools. * Proven ability to develop solutions or identify root causes for a variety of moderately scoped and complex problems, using schematics, electrical diagrams, drawings, procedures, or manuals for guidance. * Proficient in Microsoft programs and ability to learn other systems. * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision to achieve required results. * Personal supervision capability. * Must be motivated/self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple investigations or projects simultaneously.
