Your primary objective will be:
To ensure that banquet department services meet hotel standards by supervising and coordinating departments involved in event execution.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
\-Address client requirements, striving to be their top choice.
\-Operate based on event date, setup type, schedule, number of attendees, setup and teardown, aiming for consistent revenue.
\-Prepare quotations and event budgets, aligning with the client's budget.
\-Issue banquet contracts, capturing all event details including payment dates and cancellation policies. (Tentative Status)
\-Upload contracts into the Opera system so the banquet auditor can verify that all agreed terms are entered into the Micros system.
\-Send client deposits to the Controller’s Office for bank validation, requesting deposit stamp and coding.
\-Supervise and coordinate with departments involved in banquet operations for menu tastings.
\-Develop new business proposals for the banquet management team to expand the customer portfolio.
And other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience: 4 years of experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Tourism, Marketing, or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management or related field.
