Description and details of responsibilities The product development engineer participates in the technical development process of new HVAC products—from the conceptual phase through to industrialization—ensuring compliance with functional, regulatory, cost, manufacturability, and quality requirements. Actively engages in innovation projects, continuous improvement initiatives, product release to production, and validation process support. * Under the direction of the Product Development Engineering Coordinator, designs, develops, and validates new HVAC products according to customer requirements, technical regulations, and performance specifications. * Generates and maintains technical documentation: drawings, specification sheets, BOMs, CAD models, and test reports. * Participates in design reviews (DFMEA, DVP\&R, Design Reviews) to ensure product robustness. * Collaborates with manufacturing, quality, procurement, supply chain, and production departments to ensure comprehensive design feasibility. * Implements technical improvements to existing products as part of redesign or cost-reduction initiatives (Value Engineering / VAVE). * Provides technical support during pilot phases, production ramp-up, and post-release stages. * Ensures proper management of engineering changes (ECOs/ECNs) for products under their responsibility. Experience and Requirements * Education: Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. * Advanced English * Experience in mechanical design or product design. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferably in metalworking industry). * Experience in new product introduction.
