Active participation in continuous process improvement **INVENTORY SPECIALIST** **Position Objective** Ensure control and accuracy of inventory-related changes and movements within operations by executing cycle counts, physical validations, variance analysis, root cause identification, and correct system recording of movements across profiles and locations. This position collaborates closely with operational areas, IT, Business Operations, and warehouse leadership to resolve discrepancies, ensure operational continuity, and meet established service levels set by the company and its customers. **Key Responsibilities** * Execute cycle counts and inventory audits per established procedures. * Validate inventory receipts, shipments, transfers, and adjustments within the WMS/ERP system. * Investigate, document, and follow up on inventory variances, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions with involved departments. * Track incidents related to shortages, out-of-stock items, overages, damages, and operational discrepancies. * Maintain updated inventory, material, and consumable records in ERP/WMS systems. * Verify proper material placement and compliance with FIFO and FEFO methodologies. * Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventories. * Generate inventory reports, operational metrics, and performance analyses. * Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to maintain a minimum inventory accuracy of 99%. * Comply with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and operational processes. * Attend operational meetings and present weekly results, metrics, and trend analyses. * Collaborate with IT, Business Ops, and Operations teams to resolve incidents and achieve operational goals. * Utilize tools such as Power BI, Excel, WMS, and ERP for data analysis and control. * Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure necessary operational support for goal achievement. **REQUIREMENTS** **Education** * Completed high school diploma required. * Technical degree, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **Experience** * 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics. * Experience in 3PL operations and distribution centers focused on B2B and B2C e-commerce. * Experience managing inventory at carton, pallet, and pick-bin inventory methodology levels. * Experience monitoring dashboards on cloud-based WMS platforms. * Experience using ERP and WMS systems. **Technical Knowledge** * Proficiency in conducting cycle and physical inventories in B2B and B2C e-commerce environments. * Basic knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse operations. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Use of handheld scanners and RF devices. * Knowledge and monitoring of FIFO/FEFO methodologies. * Willingness to work at various operational locations when required. **Competencies** * Attention to detail. * Organization and follow-up. * Analytical and problem-solving ability. * Teamwork. * Sense of urgency. * Effective communication. * Responsibility and integrity. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Inventory accuracy: minimum 99%. * Weekly cycle count completion rate. * Discrepancy resolution time: maximum 48 hours. * Inventory adjustment volume and control. * Internal audit compliance with 98% accuracy. **Tools and Systems** * ERP / WMS * Microsoft Excel * Power BI * Monday.com * Microsoft Teams * RF / Handheld scanner * Email and internal communication tools **Working Conditions** * Work performed inside warehouse and operational areas. * Availability to conduct inventories outside regular working hours when necessary. * Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **Desired Profile** An organized, detail-oriented individual capable of working in dynamic logistics and distribution environments while maintaining high standards of control, precision, and customer service.
