For more information about Enovis, please visit www.enovis.com. **What You'll Do** Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds and supporting area needs per supervisor instructions; capable of resolving moderate mold-related issues on the production floor/molding to sustain area operations. Operate conventional equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders), and operate and program CNC equipment (milling machine, lathe, wire EDM) to design, fabricate, modify, repair, or rebuild high\-precision dies or molds. Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Responsible for operating conventional equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders) and must be capable of programming and operating CNC equipment (with minimal supervision) to design, fabricate, modify, and rebuild high\-precision dies and molds. * Applies knowledge of tool design, shop mathematics, material properties and layout, as well as machining and assembly procedures to design, fabricate, modify, and rebuild fixtures, dies, and molds. * Reviews specifications—such as blueprints, drawings, or verbal descriptions—to design, fabricate, modify, and rebuild, and plans the required sequence of operations. * Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding equipment, stamping equipment, and production fixtures. * Responsible for performing heat treatments on metals for repairing injection molds and machining dies. * Tracks mold entry and exit from the Tool Room/mold rack to maintain control over mold condition. * Provides support for fixture fabrication and repair in the machining area per immediate supervisor instructions using shop machinery (lathe, milling machine, grinder). * Assists with inventory control and mold maintenance planning. * Adheres to internal “Lock Out, Tag Out” safety procedures. * Uses and promotes use of personal protective equipment. * Responsible for cleaning the maintenance workshop and the area where corrective maintenance is performed on the production floor. **General Skills** * Completed high school or equivalent. * Technical training in Machinery and Tools. * 3 years of experience in Tool Room. * Basic Microsoft Office proficiency. * Proficiency in conventional equipment (lathe, milling machine, grinder). * CNC programming. * Mastercam. * Teamwork. * Decision making. * 5S methodology. * Organized. * Sense of belonging. * Temporary position. **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY** Enovis provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work\-related criteria without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
