Maintain data integrity and support audits Description and details of activities Position Overview: The Import/Export Analyst is responsible for executing and supporting international and domestic trade operations within the IMMEX framework. This role ensures accurate data capture, compliance with customs regulations, and timely reporting of import/export activities. The Analyst plays a key role in maintaining operational flow by preparing and reconciling documentation, monitoring shipments, escalating discrepancies, and providing evidence and support for audits and duty‑mitigation programs. **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** * Process commercial customs invoices and import/export reports for internal clients, suppliers, and government agencies. * Extract and analyze information from the ERP system to support foreign trade operations. * Capture and reconcile daily operational data (cycle times, exceptions, delays) with high accuracy. * Manage and retain border crossing documents (import/export) and non\-physical cross\-border operation records in compliance with Annex 24\. * Ensure the timely supply of raw materials for internal customers and maintain data integrity for raw materials and finished goods migrated from the ERP system. * Audit trade compliance documents and validate information on commercial invoices uploaded from the ERP system to customs compliance software. * Organize and maintain data retention records, both physical and digital. * Support projects related to machinery identification and inventory control. Experience and requirements **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade Compliance, International Business, or related field. * Intermediate English proficiency with professional working capability. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maquiladora or shelter environment. * Strong communication skills. * Updated knowledge of Mexican trade compliance laws and regulations. * Analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable business insights. * Proactive, organized, and detail oriented. * Teamwork\-oriented with strong collaboration skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (basic to intermediate level). **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Knowledge of Supply * Chain Certifications (CTPAT and OEA) * Familiarity with **Annex 24** software, preferably **IXPORT**. * Strong communication skills. * Knowledge in import duty preferences (USMCA, PROSEC, 8th rule). * Customer service oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
