Position Summary: Coordinate and manage import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimization of customs processes. Key Highlights: 1. Lead communication with customs agents, carriers, and authorities 2. Participate in projects to optimize operational and customs-related costs 3. Manage and control Rule 8s and Certificates of Origin Description and details of responsibilities * Comply with governmental regulations regarding import/export and transportation operations. * Register and maintain Annex 24, ensuring traceability and compliance. * Fixed asset auditor (audit of fixed assets and electronic/physical files). * Auditor of electronic and physical files. * Digital and automated processes for customs documentation management and shipment traceability. * Manage and control Rule 8s and Certificates of Origin. * Support and coordinate import and export operations. * Administer, record, control, and implement changes of customs regime and goods regularization. * Review and validate customs entries according to Customs Compliance requirements. * Validate tariff classification and identifiers for customs and commercial documentation. * Review the Carta Porte and supplementary documentation for carriers, traffic, and shipments. * Support the development, updating, and implementation of internal departmental procedures. * Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with IMMEX programs. * Coordinate and lead communication with customs agents, carriers, and authorities. * Participate in projects to optimize operational and customs-related costs. * Manage effective communication with Mexican and U.S. customs agents and carriers. * Manage compliance with IVA "A" certification. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor's degree in International Trade / Logistics / International Business. * Bilingual: English \- Spanish * \+ 5 years of experience in import/export, customs, and logistics within the manufacturing industry. * IMMEX Program, IVA Certification, IEPS, SEER, Annex 24 and 30\. * Experience and knowledge in import and export operations. * Experience and knowledge in customs and logistics. * Ability to process customs entries timely and accurately. * CTPAT experience.
