CPT is looking for your talent!
**Key Responsibilities and Functions:**
* Document and analyze engineering issues in components and assemblies.
* Evaluate product functionality, requirements, performance history, and failure data to support design improvements.
* Analyze material changes and assist in establishing performance standards and specifications.
* Assist in maintaining and updating bills of materials (BOM), routings, and drawings.
* Develop and maintain documentation protocols to ensure accurate and accessible engineering records.
* Participate in prototype construction, testing, and data collection.
* Support quality-related activities, including:
* Qualified Products List (QPL) testing
* Returned Material Authorizations (RMA)
* Nonconforming Material Reports (DMR)
* Corrective and Preventive Action Reports (CPAR)
* Ensure consistent compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and company quality standards.
Experience and Requirements
**Requirements and Experience:**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
* Language: English 75%
* Up to two years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within a business unit with multiple production lines.
* Basic knowledge of connector terminology, mechanical design, and quality control specifications.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and MS Office; ERP/MRP system knowledge is a competitive advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as organizational skills.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and follow instructions from Engineers or Senior Leaders.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
