We offer comprehensive Internet and connectivity solutions for guests, residents, and clients, including enterprise-class software, network design, engineering, professional services, ongoing maintenance, network monitoring, multilingual support, revenue reporting, and authentication tracking. **Activities:** * Support hotel guests **(based in Los Cabos BC)** with their wired and wireless connections and use of the SD HSIA network. * Provide network connectivity to hotel staff and on-demand troubleshooting support. * Provide setup and teardown assistance for any on-site meetings or conferences. * Work with the SD support team to monitor system performance and customer complaints. * Interact with hotel and conference guests to identify any potential needs upon arrival. * Communicate fluently in Spanish or English with guests, staff, and SDI support team. * Travel availability **Purpose / Job Summary:** The Guest Services Representative addresses the **technical and system support needs of hotel guests and staff,** assisting them with Internet connectivity setup as well as resolving any issues related to the operation or functionality of Single Digits' High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) network. The position is located at a specific hotel site and works Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak Spanish and English fluently. **Duties / Responsibilities:** * Support hotel guests with their wired and wireless connections and use of the SD HSIA network * Provide network connectivity to hotel staff and on-demand troubleshooting support * Provide setup and teardown assistance for any on-site meetings or conferences * Work with the SD support team to monitor system performance and customer complaints * Interact with hotel and conference guests to identify any potential needs upon arrival * Deliver an excellent customer experience while maintaining a safe work environment * Multitask and prioritize as needed to meet customer needs * Ensure the highest quality service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction * Comply with company safety guidelines and requirements * Communicate fluently in Spanish or English with guests, staff, and SDI support team **Job Requirements and Qualifications** Education: * Technical diploma or equivalent. * 50% bilingual proficiency **Experience:** * Previous experience working in the hospitality industry (preferred). * Experience connecting computers, phones, tablets, and gaming devices to Wi-Fi and internet networks * Customer service experience working with the public. * Experience in a desktop or network support role/environment. * Candidates with field technician/engineer experience are preferred * Basic English for communicating with guests **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of internet networking concepts and related tools; LAN/WAN/WLAN knowledge is a plus. * Familiarity with operating systems and basic use of Windows / MAC / IOS / Android / Gaming consoles * Recommended knowledge of Wi-Fi and networking systems, equipment, manufacturers, and components (e.g., Cisco) * Basic knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optic comprehension desirable. * Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, Visio, etc.
