Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and/or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.**Job Description:** * Handle and follow up on activities arising from fixed asset projects (Reconstruction) * Maintain communication with the customs, finance, and engineering teams for proper fixed asset administration. * Approve and follow up on equipment dispatches. * Approve and follow up on Notice 59/LA for fixed asset dispatches. * Handle and approve requests for disposal of equipment or spare parts. * Reconstruct and maintain the database in the Fixed Asset Software and Annex 24 balances. * Coordinate and conduct an annual physical inventory of fixed assets across all plants in Mexico. * Label all fixed assets with a QR code and register them in the software upon each arrival. * Administer fixed assets for all plants, including recordkeeping and tracking in coordination with the Finance Department. * Implement preventive actions for areas of opportunity in importation, administration, and tracking of fixed assets in coordination with the customs team, finance team, and engineering team. * Review and validate documentation proving the legal status of fixed assets in the country. * Request necessary corrections from the customs team to rectify incomplete or incorrect identification information on import declarations. * Missing serial number, model, or brand in import documents versus physical information. * Incorrect information (identification information) declared on import declarations versus physical information. * Inaccurate valuation method. * Complete import files as specified in the Fixed Asset Work Instructions (currently incomplete or unavailable). * Administer and maintain the Fixed Asset System up to date to ensure legal compliance in Mexico. * Ensure and follow up with plants (ME and Maintenance) regarding communication of any manipulation of existing equipment for repair purposes. * Develop and update policies, procedures, and work instructions related to fixed assets. * Communicate and train all AAM departments as required regarding fixed assets. **Required Skills and Education** According to Job Profile provided **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
