ORT Technician

Description

Position Summary: Technical professional or engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical testing, and operation of measurement equipment, to maintain records and calibrate equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional tests. 2. Calibrate equipment according to the maintenance schedule. 3. Operate measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras). Description and details of activities * Prepare units for testing, including sensor installation or monitoring wiring * Perform mechanical tests * Conduct electrical or functional tests * Maintain up-to-date ORT records * Calibrate equipment according to the maintenance schedule Experience and Requirements * **Technical degree or incomplete engineering degree (Electronics or Electromechanics).** * Proficiency in operating measurement equipment **(multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras).** * Knowledge of configuration and operation of thermal cycling chambers and life testing. * Basic knowledge of electronic component failures. * **Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (especially Excel).** **Competencies:** * Responsible for attendance. * Attention to detail and meticulousness. * Ability to learn quickly. * Teamwork. * Discipline in following processes.
