Leads cross-functional teams and optimizes processes. **NAPS Mexico is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader in Tijuana, Baja California** -------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Position:** **Continuous Improvement Leader** ----------------------------------------- **Department:** Continuous Improvement **Reports to:** Engineering Manager **Supervises:** Continuous Improvement Engineer / Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer **Location:** Tijuana **Industry:** Manufacturing ### **Purpose of the Position** Implement the **Lean Manufacturing** methodology through strategic, systemic, and tactical projects, driving cultural change via employee engagement, with the objective of eliminating waste, improving processes, and strengthening the organization’s operational and financial performance. ### **Functions and Responsibilities** * Develop continuous improvement strategies, plans, and goals to achieve world-class operations. * Lead and facilitate strategic projects and Kaizen events with direct impact on productivity and financial margins. * Develop and implement continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC). * Lead cross-functional teams and actively participate in selected process improvement projects. * Identify, lead, and execute multiple process improvement projects across functions simultaneously. * Act as a change agent to implement organizational improvements that increase customer satisfaction and business productivity. * Promote Lean culture through consistent employee engagement. * Serve as mentor and trainer on business processes and improvement tools. * Implement standardized and ergonomic workstations. * Conduct studies and analyses focused on process optimization. * Implement Andon systems, Poka Yoke, daily improvement initiatives, and Kaizen events. * Propose and execute changes in layout, work systems, and machinery adaptations. * Provide support to various departments in scrap reduction projects. * Lead and coordinate the plant’s annual Strategic Planning events. * Track projects implemented by the Continuous Improvement team. ### **Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 7 years implementing Continuous Improvement processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. * At least 5 years leading Continuous Improvement teams. **Studies and Certifications:** * Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Green Belt (preferred). **Language:** * Intermediate English. ### **Knowledge and Competencies** **Technical Knowledge:** * Implementation of Lean methodology in manufacturing. * Promotion of Lean and Continuous Improvement culture. * Lean tools: 5S, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover, TPM. * Kanban, cost reduction, and problem solving. * Statistical knowledge (Green Belt level preferred). * Proficiency in computer and statistical tools (Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Minitab). **Skills and Aptitudes:** * Leadership and influence at all levels. * Excellent communication skills. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Results-oriented mindset. * Teamwork. * Innovation. * Ability to work under pressure. * Data-driven decision making. ### **Position Conditions** * Office and plant-based work. * Physical mobility and stamina. * Occasional exposure to industrial noise. **Desired Education Level:** University Degree \- Certified **Desired Experience Level:** Expert Level **Departmental Function:** Manufacturing / Operations **Industry:** Consumer Electronics *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69d83f643f00003300392d3f\&source\=indeed*
