




Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to design, validate, and maintain sampling, inspection, and statistical process control (SPC) systems, leading continuous improvement initiatives. Drive KPIs and improve quality performance Description and details of responsibilities **Key Responsibilities** * Design, validate, and maintain QA sampling systems, inspection methods, and statistical process controls (SPC). * Develop control plans that meet customer, product, regulatory, and industry requirements. * Review engineering drawings, specifications, DFX reports, and test plans for compliance and manufacturability. * Monitor production, testing, and shipping activities to ensure adherence to quality standards. * Analyze production data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and update quality procedures. * Lead corrective and preventive action plans for internal, supplier, and customer quality issues. * Conduct quality audits to assess program effectiveness and ensure documentation accuracy. * Perform measurement system analysis, correlation studies, and special testing due to design or process changes. * Support pilot runs, pre‑production builds, and verification activities (FAI/FCI). * Drive KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness, improve scrap rates, and support supplier quality performance. * Prepare technical reports, evaluations, and documentation for internal and customer reviews. * Support standardization of manufacturing processes for global customer accounts. * Maintain compliance with site certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ANSI ESD S20\.20, IPC, etc.). * Represent the company in technical forums or customer meetings as required. * Ensure alignment with departmental KPIs and organizational goals. Experience and Requirements **Qualifications** **Core Qualifications (for all exempt roles)** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities. * High attention to detail and strong prioritization skills. * Ability to work independently with discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment. * Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies. * Strong customer focus and ability to work with diverse teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., WebEx). **Role‑Specific Qualifications** * Master's degree preferred. * 15\+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and/or systems engineering. * 5\+ years in a leadership or senior technical role. * Recognized expertise in quality engineering, reliability, electronic assembly, and test processes. * Ability to lead complex problem‑solving and drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Experience working with metrics and tools such as SPC, FMEA, DPMO, FPY, and Six Sigma.
