Thor Urbana is seeking a new Electromechanical Technician for The Landmark Tijuana.** **TO PROCEED WITH YOUR APPLICATION, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK‼** https://thorurbana.buk.mx/s/xEoBNcmsRehqJ36b **Only applications submitted through this link will be considered.** **Job Description** \- Supervise medium- and low-voltage electrical installations. \- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in substations, electrical rooms, and meter concentration rooms. \- Resolve issues promptly. \- Perform preventive maintenance on schedule, in accordance with the internal maintenance program. \- Provide field technical support. \- Maintain logbooks documenting medium- and low-voltage electrical infrastructure. **Responsibilities** * Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of medium-voltage switchgear (e.g., thermal imaging to detect hot spots at connections, re-torquing of elbows, re-torquing of physical grounding points, inspection for potential electrical arcing, etc.). * Install temporary power supply to tenant spaces undergoing fit-out. * Perform preventive maintenance on metering concentrators, transformers, and medium-voltage switchgear. * Monitor voltage and current parameters on pedestal-mounted transformers. * Maintain daily logbooks for electrical rooms, substations, and meter concentration rooms. * Clean electrical rooms and paint bases and equipment. * Support general maintenance tasks as required. * Comply with the maintenance plan per manufacturer instructions, timelines, and recommendations. * Document completed activities using a maintenance logbook. * Issue work permits when connecting a tenant space to medium-voltage supply. * Inspect existing installations and routing for new tenant electrical service connections. * Perform corrective maintenance on medium-voltage elbows and junction boxes. **Requirements** * **Minimum Education:** High school diploma or engineering degree * **Field of Study:** Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering * **Language:** Spanish (spoken and written) / English (reading) * **Years of Experience:** 3 or more **Others:** \- Industrial installations in low- and medium-voltage systems \- Maintenance of electrical substations \- Training in control panels \- Training in installation of pedestal-type transformers for medium-voltage applications \- Occupational safety training **Competencies:** * Teamwork * Sense of urgency * Positive attitude * Responsibility * Adaptability * Organization * Schedule flexibility * Safety focus * Effective communication **Benefits** * **Monthly gross salary: $20,000** * Statutory benefits * Full-time schedule * **Monthly food vouchers: $5,500** Thor Urbana is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
