Job Summary: Research, innovate, and develop pharmaceutical formulations, evaluating technical feasibility and conducting formulation trials for both new and existing medications. Key Highlights: 1. Description and details of responsibilities * Research, innovate, develop, and design formulations for pharmaceutical dosage forms to ensure successful execution of new drug projects and/or improvement of existing medications. * Collaborate with the department head to evaluate the technical feasibility of pharmaceutical development. * Perform proposed formulation trials during development. * Request and monitor analyses and results from formulation trials. * Issue manufacturing orders and procedures for batches submitted for regulatory registration. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Health Sciences, Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Chemical-Pharmaceutical-Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in an equivalent or higher position within the pharmaceutical industry. * Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of: * Formulation and reformulation of solid pharmaceutical dosage forms. * Experimental design, stability testing, pre-formulation, and excipient compatibility. * Technology transfer. * Regulatory affairs. * Project development. * Analytical chemistry. * Instrumental chemistry. * Basic statistics. * Pharmacopoeias (e.g., FEUM, USP, etc.). * Specialized literature (e.g., Handbook, The Merck Index, etc.). * Position located in the city of Tecate.
