Promotes proactivity and teamwork **Jr. Procurement Coordinator** **Job Purpose** Support the operational management of the procurement process by ensuring timely supply of goods and services through purchase order tracking, supplier communication, and administrative control of the department, thereby contributing to operational continuity. **Organizational Impact** This position contributes to the proper flow of the procurement process by ensuring traceability of purchase orders, documentary control, and timely follow-up with suppliers, thus enabling daily operations to proceed without interruption. **Key Responsibilities** * Track purchase orders from issuance through delivery of materials or services. * Support solicitation, analysis, and collection of supplier quotations. * Maintain consistent communication with suppliers regarding order status, pricing, and delivery dates. * Record, organize, and keep procurement department documentation up to date. * Support control and updating of information (order status, consumption, and price comparisons). * Prepare operational reports for internal tracking. * Identify procurement process issues and promptly follow up to resolve them. **Education Requirements** * Completed bachelor’s degree in: * Business Administration * Accounting * Commerce / International Business * Industrial Engineering * Technical degree in administrative or related fields (with verifiable procurement experience) may also be considered. **Experience** * Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or supplier management. * Preferred experience in purchase order tracking and supplier interaction. **Knowledge and Skills** * Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency (tables, filters, information management). * Email usage and supplier follow-up. * Administrative process organization and control. * Attention to detail and document handling. * Basic analytical ability and capacity to resolve operational issues. **Language** * Intermediate English (reading and replying to emails, communicating with suppliers). This position includes a short-term development plan, with potential for advancement within 3 to 6 months up to 12 months, subject to performance and achievement of objectives.
