Position Summary: Coordination and management of domestic and international procurement activities, including quotations, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up. Key Highlights: 1. End-to-end purchase order management and supplier follow-up. 2. Sourcing and evaluation of new suppliers and supply strategies. 3. Participation in productivity initiatives and expense analysis. Additionally,* *in 2024 we were awarded the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, which recognizes the most engaged workplace cultures in the world.** Preparation of purchase orders for domestic and foreign suppliers; notification to suppliers. * Requesting quotations from domestic and foreign suppliers; preparing comparative analyses to select the best option. * Confirming delivery dates with suppliers, communicating them to requisitioners, and updating the system. * Closing outstanding purchase orders that will not be used; closing unnecessary purchase orders. * Reviewing the pending receipt log. * Reviewing and resolving BLS backlog reports. * Responding to emails from suppliers and requisitioners. * Invoice review in SIMS QUEUE. * Follow-up on purchase orders older than 90 days. * Follow-up on productivity projects. * Follow-up and review of GRNI US/MX. * Evaluating and executing purchases using P-card or check payments when required. * Visits to supplier locations. * Requesting account statements from critical suppliers. * Follow-up on MIN\-MAX items purchased via Oracle 11i; calculation of MIN\-MAX. * Preparation of SBF to ensure process continuity. * Requesting advance payments and tracking their authorizations. * Sourcing and identifying new suppliers; tracking related documentation. * Following up on documentation updates to maintain the supplier database. * Reporting open orders at month-end, identifying: received but unbilled services, and missing orders * to initiate the following month. * Generating and analyzing Pareto charts of expenses by supplier. * Generating Pareto charts of consumption and reviewing supply strategies. * Reviewing and following up on the service provider contract matrix. * Generating supplier scorecards. * Evaluating procedures, legal compliance, service, etc. (SPD).
