Job Summary: We are seeking a style editor for medical and scientific manuscripts, responsible for ensuring linguistic coherence and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Style editing of medical and scientific manuscripts. 2. Collaboration with editors and authors to resolve linguistic questions. 3. Focus on coherence, clarity, and consistency of language. Responsibilities: Proofreading and editing for spelling, grammar, and style in medical and scientific manuscripts. Orthotypographic review according to the publisher's editorial guidelines and style manuals. Verification of coherence, clarity, and consistency in language usage. Coordination with editors and authors to resolve linguistic or stylistic questions. Strict adherence to editorial deadlines and targets. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Literature, Linguistics, Communication, Translation, or a related field. Excellent command of the Spanish language and solid knowledge of grammar and orthography. Proven experience in style editing, preferably in the medical or scientific field. Analytical ability, attention to detail, and writing skills. Organization, proactivity, and commitment to delivery deadlines.
