We serve and develop solutions for the country’s major banks. Position Objective We seek an AI Engineer to join as the technical leader of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence. Your mission will be to design, build, and scale artificial intelligence solutions that add value and transform how we operate as an organization—from software development to operations and business processes. This is a hybrid role combining technical execution (70%) and solution design (30%). We seek someone who can do both: understand a business problem, design an appropriate AI solution, build it, and implement it. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to define AI standards, tools, and practices across the entire organization. Responsibilities Translate business problems into technical solutions: Participate in discovery sessions with departments such as Technology, Data, Operations, and Finance to identify AI application opportunities. Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed initiatives. Design solution architectures appropriate to the problem, considering cost, complexity, and implementation time. · Develop and implement AI solutions: Build solutions based on LLMs: assistants, document processing, content generation. Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures for internal use cases. Integrate language model APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into applications. Design and implement effective prompts (Prompt Engineering) and observability and evaluation systems. · Evaluate technologies/tools, define standards and best practices: Research and test new AI tools relevant to our use cases. Collaborate in defining organizational guidelines for AI usage. Participate in selecting AI stack tools and platforms. Contribute to creating playbooks and technical guides for the team. Stay updated on AI trends applied to our sector. · Training, collaboration, and evangelism: Provide technical guidance to junior team members. Collaborate with other technical teams (Data, Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, etc.) in solution design and implementation. Share knowledge and train new AI leaders within the company. Communicate results to non-technical stakeholders. Who Are We Looking For? Key Skills and Required Experience · 3 years of software development experience as a Software Engineer, Full-stack Developer, ML Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer. · 2 years of recent experience building AI solutions/products or AI-based solutions (chatbots, AI agents, process automation, AI-powered applications). · 1 year of experience working with vector databases, API integration (LLMs), RAG architectures, and Prompt Engineering. · (Desirable) 1 year of experience in MLOps or DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, API deployment, infrastructure-as-code, etc. · Engineering mindset: Passion for automation, reliability, and software excellence. · Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. · Intermediate-to-advanced English, with excellent oral and written comprehension. Competencies and Required Knowledge · Solid 3-year foundation in programming fundamentals and software engineering. · 3 years of Python experience (prior experience with other languages is acceptable: Java, C++, R, Julia, etc.) and advanced SQL. · 1 year of experience with orchestration frameworks (LangChain/LLamaIndex) and vector DBs (Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector). · 1 year of experience with Cloud Architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure); experience with AI Suites (Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure AI, Databricks, AI21 Labs, H2O.ai) is desirable. · (Desirable) 1 year of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow). · Basic knowledge of solution design and architecture. · Generative AI and LLMs. · Integration and usage of models via API (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.). · Prompt Engineering. · Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Architecture. · Vector databases.
