Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior DBA with over 5 years of experience, strong analytical thinking, and technological adaptability for database administration and optimization in complex environments. Key Highlights: 1. Multi-engine database administration and operations 2. Query optimization and troubleshooting with large data volumes 3. Direct involvement in implementation and resolution of technical issues Senior Database Administrator (Senior DBA) with over 5 years of experience. **Technical Requirements (Mandatory)** * Experience in installation, configuration, administration, and operation of databases, preferably in: \-PostgreSQL. \-MySQL / MariaDB. \-SQL Server (optional but acceptable). * Experience in: \-Query optimization (EXPLAIN / execution plan). \-Index management. \-Database troubleshooting (CPU, IO, locks, slow queries). \-Upgrading and deploying database engines. \-Creating and maintaining stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts for report generation, data extraction, and support of operational or analytical processes. * Experience in Linux environments: \-Basic commands (top, ps, df, du). \-Log review. \-Service management. * Experience working with large data volumes: \-Tables with millions of records. \-Query optimization on large datasets. * Experience in data integration processes: \-ETL. \-Batch / bulk loads. \-Incremental data handling. **Desirable Requirements (Highly Valued)** * Experience with **analytical/OLAP engines**, such as: \-ClickHouse. \-Vertica. * Knowledge or experience with **distributed/in-memory platforms**, such as: \-Apache Ignite. \-Redis. * Experience with: \-Data Warehouses. \-Analytical models. \-Processing large volumes of data. * Knowledge of data pipelines: \-Ingestion. \-Transformation. \-System synchronization. * Experience with: \-Scripting (Python, Bash). \-Process automation. **Candidate Profile** * Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. * Ability to work in complex, multi-engine environments. * High technological adaptability. * Practical orientation, with direct participation in implementation, operations, and technical issue resolution. * Capacity for continuous learning. On-site work located south of Mexico City (facing Plaza Escenaria); living near the area is desirable. **We Offer** Salary: $30,000 \- $40,000 net, depending on experience and expertise.
