Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder for our metal-mechanical company, responsible for welding connections and adapting pumping equipment, ensuring safety and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Emphasis on safety and maintaining workplace order. ***Join our metal-mechanical company as a: Welder (argon welding proficiency is mandatory)*** **EDUCATION:** Completed high school and/or technical degree (Welding, Machine Tools, or related field). **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum 2 years, verifiable through practical and theoretical welding assessment. Will perform welding of connections, environmental setup plans, and adaptations to pumping equipment following established guidelines and procedures; conduct measurements during assembly; and complete required records, with the goal of ensuring personal and coworkers' safety. **Responsibilities:** * Verify, per the provided materials list, that each component matches the part number and material specified by Engineering. * Weld / Bend / Adapt / Adjust components in the sequence described in the procedure, ensuring personal safety and component integrity during handling. * Submit the fully completed and signed checklist to Document Control when the equipment / part is transferred to the next process. * Correctly use measuring instruments to verify required tolerances during equipment assembly. * Evaluate tasks to be performed and analyze associated risks to ensure safe working days. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area at all times. * Record full working hours in the company system via a work order / production order. **SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:** Use of hand tools. Application of **TIG** welding. Application of **SMAW** welding. Cutting materials using power tools. Bending materials using hand / hydraulic tools. Shop tools (presses, heat inducers, skids, etc.). Use of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, outside micrometer, height gauge, minimum requirement). Understanding of measurements and tolerances in both International System and Imperial System. PC usage and basic Windows operation. Position type: Full-time, indefinite term.
