Lead, execute, and support a broad range of project activities throughout the technical phases of awarded programs. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional team members at both divisional and global levels, as well as regular interaction with OEMs, internal support functions, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers. * Creating / Validating Product Design for Steering Wheel and Driver Airbag. * Working with the customer to negotiate styling vs. Autoliv standard design/processes. * Working with global team members to locally validate and launch global programs. * Balance between easy to manufacture and meeting customer needs. * Understanding customer specifications and ensuring product is designed/validated accordingly. * Driving the design to meet 1P1P expectations. ##### **What is required:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Previous experience: Steering wheels, Driver Airbags, Automotive Interior Class A Component Design, Product Design, CAE * Fluent in English and Spanish. * Design / CAD * Perform Tolerance Stack * Apply GD\&T on Drawings * Ability to understand manufacturing needs e.g., Die cast, RIM, Injection Molding, Stamping, Assy * Interpreting CAE Results ##### **What’s in it for you:** * Attractive compensation package * Recognition awards, company events, family events, university discount options and many more perks. * Gender Pay Equality Autoliv is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
