Fuego y Gas S.A. de C.V., a 100% Mexican company and leader in Industrial Safety Systems and Integrated Solutions for the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Commercial Facilities sectors, with over 20 years of market experience, committed to delivering the highest standards of quality and service to our customers, is seeking: Procurement Intern (Imports) Education: Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s program in International Trade, International Business, or related field. Job Objective: To support the operational management of the international procurement department by ensuring control and tracking of purchase orders, import customs entries, and compliance with administrative procedures, thereby guaranteeing proper execution of transactions with national and international suppliers. Functions and Responsibilities: - Assist in preparation, control, and tracking of purchase orders. - Review and control import customs entries. - Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders. - Support reconciliation with the accounting department to ensure accurate invoice recording. - Communicate and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with commercial terms. - Assist in managing and monitoring supplier credit lines. - Maintain and update procurement department databases and reports. - Assist in compiling import documentation packages (commercial invoice, packing list, customs entry, etc.). Requirements: Currently enrolled student (final semesters) or recent graduate. Basic knowledge of import processes and customs documentation (customs entries). Proficiency in Excel.
