TT Electronics’ Juarez facility is located on the border of Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, two blocks from the Zaragoza\-Ysleta International Bridge. The site has been opened since 1978, with a total floor space of 118K SQFT in two buildings. The site has a wide portfolio of optoelectronic sensors fabrication, supporting several final product applications such as office, automotive, aerospace/defence, medical, industrial and communications. The site serves more than 100 direct customers and ships our products worldwide. Role Overview and Responsibilities: **Introduction** The Process Engineer position involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to keep the production line running and under control. This includes solving process-related issues, developing and analyzing experimental designs. The role coordinates the introduction of new products, processes, equipment, and special runs, collaborating with various involved functions while ensuring compliance with required standards and regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain production processes under control. Monitor critical process inputs and outputs, establish process specifications and parameters. * Analyze engineering metrics data and trends, and ensure their continuous improvement. * Lead and execute engineering projects, NPI, new processes, etc., managing timelines, budgets, and resources, prioritizing according to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. * Implement solutions to process and product issues, capacity constraints, efficiency gaps, cost improvements, etc. Lead cross-functional teams using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. * Participate in the design and fabrication of test equipment; coordinate its validation (MSA) and release. Execute capability studies and GR\&R (MSA), and implement corresponding corrective actions to improve them. * Develop and maintain process and product documentation. * Provide technical support in resolving quality issues with suppliers and customers. If necessary, visit suppliers and customers. * Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM); manage additions, deletions, and changes to quantities, materials, characteristics, etc. * Support Product Engineering. Coordinate engineering samples, evaluate raw materials and new processes. Report results, primary failure analysis, and statistical analysis. * Identify emerging technologies and collaborate with equipment suppliers on equipment and tooling development. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes: **Core Requirements** * 10+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer. * Experience in semiconductor fabrication, IC\-Die assembly, or microelectronics (desirable). * Knowledge of injection molding and transfer molding processes (desirable). * Experience in New Product Introduction and engineering changes. * Experience in product costing, cost analysis, variance analysis, BOM/Routings. * Experience handling electrical test and measurement equipment, as well as interpreting technical drawings and electromechanical specifications. * Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and apply problem-solving methodologies such as A3, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Whys, DOE. * Knowledge and experience with Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, PCP, MSA. * Proficiency in MS Office, MiniTab, MRP (SAP). * Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD / SolidWorks). * Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical personnel. * Ability to effectively collaborate with global cross-functional teams. * Advanced English (70%). * Experience and ability to develop and present Six Sigma projects (Green Belt or Black Belt). * Experience in Product Engineering / NPI is a plus. * Experience in SMT. * Experience in automation and electrical test development (desirable). **Desirable Skills and Experience** * Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering with an Electronics option. * 5+ years’ experience in optoelectronic product manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, or related processes (preferred). **Solving Technology Challenges for a Sustainable World** We want the very best people in our TT family across the globe – so we welcome applications from everyone, to celebrate a diverse mix of experiences, backgrounds and identities.
