




Position Summary: Advise, plan, control, and promote corrective and preventive actions to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses at Hortifrut’s facilities in Mexico. Key Highlights: 1. Incident investigation and training The primary **mission of the position** is to advise, plan, control, and promote corrective and preventive actions aimed at preventing workplace accidents and/or occupational illnesses across Hortifrut’s various facilities in Mexico, in strict compliance with current Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Among the **main responsibilities**, you will: · Implement and supervise industrial safety programs at production units, ensuring regulatory compliance. · Conduct periodic inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards and establish preventive measures. · Advise on the proper selection of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to identified risks, and enforce its use and maintenance. · Train and instruct employees thoroughly regarding the risks associated with their respective job positions. · Implement and verify compliance with STPS regulations applicable to the agricultural sector. · Coordinate investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports, root cause analyses, and action plans. · Train and disseminate among employees the emergency response plan and clarify each employee’s role within the emergency response team. **Application Requirements:** · Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. · Knowledge of STPS regulations. · Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a standard vehicle. · SMETA ISO 45001. · Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Civil Protection and Emergencies, or related field. · Two years of experience in similar positions.
