Ensuring product quality under automotive standards **Your Role** Design, implement, optimize, and control plastic product (connectors and headers) assembly processes, ensuring operational efficiency (SAU), product quality (Scrap, IQNs), compliance with technical specifications (FMEA, CP, PF), and cost reduction (M:M, POV). **Our Team** Molex creates connections for life by enabling technologies that transform the future and improve lives. With a presence in over 40 countries, Molex offers a comprehensive range of connectivity products, services, and solutions for the data communications, medical, industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics industries. **What You’ll Do** * Design and document assembly processes (connectors and headers), (True position, assembly, ). * Develop process sheets, work instructions, and flowcharts. * Balance production lines to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. * Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. * Define and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for assembly. * Coordinate process validation tests (PPAP, Run at Rate, etc.). * Analyze and resolve quality issues using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA. * Ensure compliance with quality standards under IATF 16949\. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): efficiency (SAU and POEE), scrap, M:M, cycle times. * Participate in new product launches for industrialization and production kick\-off. * Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to ensure process stability. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety and ergonomics standards. **Who You Are** * Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field. * Experience in automotive manufacturing processes. * Specific experience in assembly of plastic and metallic components. * Interpretation of engineering drawings and GD\&T. * Line balancing and time studies. * FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP. * Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. * Automotive standards (IATF 16949\). **Who We Are** As a Koch company, Molex is a leading provider of connectors and interconnection components that drive innovation in electronics and support sectors ranging from automotive and healthcare to consumer and data transmission.
