Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through correct operational processes and excellent service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement opportunities or training needs are identified. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and with AutoZone’s dress code, interact with one another and with our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for your direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store testing stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
